For info/feedback, please find attached release 2 of the (HO, freemo) module spec - this is the first published update since the original release back in 2011.
Thanks to Tom Winlow and the modular working group for their efforts in getting this out.

Quite like Metinota as well, there's a real Mendota, and the similar sounds make it quite plausible.
Thrash is obviously on a shortline run by Alco's...

That's pretty good....
Koggiung, IL
Spy Hill, IL
Weeki Wachee, IL
Soaptown, IL
Dwarf, IL
Nipomo, IL
Drawbridge, IL
Speedway, IL
Sambo, IL
Alliance, IL
Doing a quick search in google maps, it looks like what it does is find town names from other states that don't already appear in your chosen one...

Re: Kato GE P42
Worth pointing out to any DCC folks that you may be better off saving up for the sound version if you don't like involved decoder installs - this is on the fiendish side! http://www.katousa.com/HO/P42/maint/DCC-install.html Kinda surprised they didn't do what Intermountain has and fit *everything* w...

Re: Quisling: constructing 16 feet of modular railroad
I'm sticking with the name for the reasons I gave. Firstly, I felt very guilty, almost traitorous, abandoning my Donner plans after putting lots of time and resources into them, and secondly, it's that rare thing, a name that is almost without use in the US. 3d printing
Something that's come along in the last few years is 3d printing, or 'rapid prototyping' - basically instead of having to make a mould and injection mould plastic, you can now design an item on a CAD program and just 'print it out', something that only a few years back we'd have been calling science...
