Hi Mike I apply the Pledge neat with the nozzle of the small bottle seen in the photographs. I do not pre-wet the ballast before applying, it wicks along the ballast very easily. The Pledge is not clear, its a murky cream colour, but it has no t changed the colour or tone of the ballast and the ball...

Hi Jock Judging by the baseboard design, I guessed you might still have to get your car in! When I first moved into this present house, the garage was a single garage and my layout was similar in design, shelves around the wall! As a reasonably fit 54 year old I could use a duck under using the side...

I have used "real" photos in the development of my layout - Kaley Yard. The backscene photos seen in this blog - http://kaleyyard.wordpress.com/ - were taken in Southern California specifically for use on the layout. In November, I spent some time in Miami and Southern Florida taking photo...

Some questions Do they work if the trip pins are left on the couplings? What happens when they pass over uncoupling magnets, do they break contact with each other and drop to the magnet?
