Following nominations and voting at the Annual General Meeting of the NMRA British Region, the following members have been appointed to the Board of Directors
As a former President (VP in Oct 84, Pres from 85 to 87 and past (it) Pres from 87 to 89). John Spratley brings a wealth of experience to the position of President. John said "I am delighted to have won the approval of the membership. My aim is to return the fun element to model railroading without losing sight of the need to maintain our high standards. My personal slogan is 'Share the hobby, double the fun' and I'd like every member to join me in doing just that". New Vice President, Robin Swan's intention is "As the newest member of the BOD it is my aim to get to know as many of the members as possible, find out what they want and then see that their message gets to where it is needed. I will therefore be trying to visit as many different divisions and groups as I possibly can during my term of office so that I am better able to perform the duties of my office" The members of the NMRA will be eager to see what the new board has in store for them.
