 SOUTHTRAK
10th & 11th October, 10am till 5pm both days
Entrance: £1.50 adult; 75p one child accompanied by adult; £4 family (2 adult + 2 children)
SOUTHTRAK will be holding a show at the Hampden Park Com- munity Centre, (located beneath the club’s regular meeting room) at Brodrick Road, Hampden Park, near Eastbourne in October. As well as Southtrak’s large HO layout, the “Aldridge Indiana” HO layout will be in operation. There will also be a Chinese outline layout (Tai Chi) and fine British modelling on show. Light refresh- ments available.
Directions: Access via A27 from Brighton and Lewes, or A22 from Lon- don etc. South of Polegate (the junction of A27 and A22) follow A22 south to roundabout, exit on Kings Drive left, to next roundabout. Then exit on Decoy Drive left - follow round to Nevill Ave. or Roseberry ave. Turn into Brassey Ave and see community centre in Brodrick Road. Parking around the venue. By train, Hampden Park station nearby.

...will hold an extra one-day NMRA meet at Benson Parish Hall on Saturday 5th December 1998, 10.30 am till 4.30pm. Entrance £2 NMRA members, £3.00 invited guests.
Designed as a pre-Christmas shopping spree, the emphasis will be on bring-and-buy, and traders. At most, two or three layouts will be present, plus a multi-scale test track.
Subject to confirmation, the following traders will attend: B&H (N scale), Gilmaur (O Scale), SPV, LSWR, M.G.Sharp, Big John’s Trains, Sunningwell Command Control, Camden (Books). Bring- and-buy tables allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Only tea, coffee and snacks will be available ‘in venue’, but pubs and chippies in the village will welcome business! Tea and coffee available in lounge before doors open.
Organised jointly with NMRA, the Region will receive 50% of any surplus. The WHRR hope to use their share to buy radio/mike headsets for use by the WHRR group. Map etc. nearer the time.
