GP30 appearing from behind a bush - “The last of the Mohicans - DRGW GP30 #3002 thunders out of the bush west of Monte Visto on the Creede, CO branch, with empty woodchip gons in tow. 11 March 1999.

Water Tower etc - “#3002 draws up to the water tower as if to pose for the camera at South Fork before switch- ing empty cars into the lumber yard and taking loaded woodchip gons back to Pueblo.” (Footnote: #3002 was to be the last surviving member of the class in UP ser- vice.)
