 DIVISION NEWS...
The Turk Town American Model Railroad Group
...had its first meeting on Sunday 21st October in a local community centre. Some 14 interested folk attended the meet and spent a couple of hours or more discussing, operating and enjoying the members layouts Driftwood Canyon and Gilkicker Creek. Although the meet was a mite impromptu it was deemed a success so we are gearing up for our next gathering in order to promote the World’s Greatest Hobby.
At the next meeting there will be three layouts plus a children’s hands-on layout and will be held on Sunday 16 December from 1400hrs.
Where? St Marys Parish Centre, Green Road, Alverstoke, Gosport. Adults 50p and children free. You’all welcome!

  FROM LES HERRIOT
To all my friends in the British Region of NMRA...
On behalf of all my family I would like to thank everyone who has either written to me or telephoned me following the sudden death of my wife Glenys on 17th September.
I would especially like to thank Geoff Meek, Steve and Noleen Park, and Derek (Mr) Milby for attending Glenys’s funeral, and anyone else who I did not see. It is a great comfort to know that I have such friends.
Les. Herriot
