Below: Apparently the crew had a torrid time the day before trying to depart Howe with their train because of a lack of sand. They were determined it was not going to happen again so off they went to Home Depot, Wilburton, OK. Loco is B23-Super 7
Left: A-OK equipment at Howe. The crew ran out of time bringing a train of two cars down from Wilburton. As a result they had to tie up for the night and take the cars left by KCS up to Wilburton the next morning.
