The
  Littleton and Humphrey
The Littleton and Humphrey is a fictitious joint sub of the ATSF and the UP, and Almera Junction Yard is just outside Littleton. Littleton (Humphrey, one of my heroes, to whom it pays tribute, spelt it Lyttleton) is just outside Denver; it was built by Graeme Schrouder. Graeme must be congratulated on an extremely professional job. The large building at one end has a two-track sector plate within, which includes an IRDOT detector to remind you that there is something inside still. There are masses of buried magnets for uncoupling, one in every siding throat and more besides. There are actually seven industries to create rail traffic. It was awarded “Layout of the Month” in Continental Modeller a few years ago.
