 river. This meant that there would be three bridges over the river, in ascending order: for the back track of the lower loop; the intermediate track; the front track of the upper loop. This is shown in the track plan). The plan also includes sidings from the lower dogbone along the side leg at the right. Also, the intermediate track curves round to traverse the side leg and will eventually have two sidings.
Before starting the construction stage it is important to remember that once the hard landscaping is in place it may be too
     late too install and hide pipes, conduits and wiring. Thus these must be planned ahead. After all you cannot just drill a hole in the baseboard., rather wires , conduits and pipes will need to be concealed, most probably by being buried.. Obviously if you have track power you will need to plan all wiring for electrifying the track at this stage. However even if you are using on-board battery power, you may still need wiring for switches and accessories, such as lighted buildings.
