I wondered if a model could be made as I like the "oddball" items in railroading and my own pike is based on EsP. I claim no ability to make models well, doing it usually just by eye. Things that I do make, for my own pleasure are from whatever is in the scrap box. It turned out better than I had hoped but does look a bit weird as it trundles along the track. Left: From Beebes "MANSIONS on RAILS". It purports to be the p.v. of the Jersey Lily, Miss Lily Langtree. I only had the description from the book, no photograph just a line drawing. Built by William D'Alton Mann of the Mann Boudoir Car company, also owner/ editor of Town Topics magazine. It is a bit short as the full size one was 75 feet. But it was only for fun and started life as the passenger car from a "DAVY CROCKETT" train.
