I am thinning my very large collection of HO scale models and have many items available. All models are in their original packaging and have KDs (or equivalent) and metal wheelsets. The locomotives are all DC with flywheel drives and have been super-detailed as appropriate with extra parts.
All prices are exclusive of postage, but
I can make them available for collection at Benson or elsewhere by arrangement. Contact thos.watson@btinternet.com for the complete list.
But when 40 plus years ago we moved west I fell in love, and am still smitten. Best Wishes and my thanks.

FIGURES
I model the period 1870 to 1910, and have recently acquired some Long Horn cattle and figures of that period from a supplier in America called ‘Knuckleduster miniatures’. The detail on the figures is very good and I would like you to pass on this information to the rest of the members please. I have no interest in this company other than a buyer of their excellent products, and I am eagerly awaiting their horse drawn vehicles.

PROMONTORY SUMMIT
Without being pedantic or critical, on behalf of members of the Union Pacific Historical Society everywhere, I feel I must point out that it is a common error of referring to the meeting place of the transcontinental railroads as “Promonto- ry Point” whereas it should actually
be Promontory Summit, Utah.

 THANKS
Please pass this note of thanks to Peter for his great kindness in thinking of my interests, it is very generous of him to let me see, read, and enjoy past issues of Roundhouse magazines.
I openly confess I know nothing about the American railways, so it is in passing fun to do some catching up.The articles are the ones on kit building and painting which I find of the most interest, as I can sometimes incorporate nuggets of advice I have learnt from the magazine.
The Great Western is my idol, particular- ly the 1890-1920 period, when it was at its zenith, in style, design, and pomposity! Although I was born on the Southern, and grew up having footplate rides on all the Battle of Britain Class Locos, (Spam cans!) and on the main line; you could get away with that in those days, if you knew the right people!
