This interchange has worked out just as I had hoped. The narrow gauge track holds six cars – one for each of the six freights we run during an operations session. I normally place 3 or 4 standard gauge cars on that track and first time visitors always remark about the size difference. A similar setup could be used for standard gauge layouts with a short section of narrow gauge track with a couple of cars.
