   The layout started with the scratchbuilt trestle and snow shed, this is HO scale...!
Details, details, details - it looks real
 Later in 1993, construction started on a small 8 x 8 foot around the wall layout with the bridge and snow shed as the focal point. In 2004 I dismantled and relocated this to a larger space in my garage and it grew four more times to the present size of 20 x 26 feet.
Walking in to the garage, you are pre- sented with mountains above 8 feet in height, which gives you a sense of being partly immersed into the layout scene. The layout is 52 inches above the floor giving you a more eye level viewing angle. Trackwork is mostly Atlas code 100 and 83 with some Peco and Micro Engi-
At the other end of the motive power depot is a turntable and servicing facility
