Hi Geoff Thanks for the feedback. At the moment Hacienda Ave is booked to go to Mid-Kent show (Maidstone) in April and also TVNAM in June I had to import my Arizona R&M either direct from Caboose Hobbies (v expensive with shipping / tax etc) or via a mutual friend of ours while he was on holiday...

Afternoon everyone Been a while since I posted on here so I thought I'd do a quick update on progress on the layout. As mentioned in my above post 'Hacienda Ave' had a sucessful trip to Tolworth in so much as it highlighted a number of areas that needing 'fettling' to improve operation or the layout...

If you buy your Loksound chips from Coastal DCC they will load the sound file of your choice prior to shipping

Mike - no I used a separate bit of 9mm ply as the "bridge" so it is pretty ridged. that sits flush into the 9mm MDF desk a with each end on a couple of 2x1 softwood risers. So while not completely rigid it seems pretty resilient.
