NMRABR/Cyderbelt Division members.

I’m very pleased to report on a positive move forward for the Cyderbelt Division by the Avalon Group, a small group of American modellers who operated their layout at the Crewe NMRABR convention in 2022.

Until recently the group met monthly at Monkton Combe Village Hall, but have now moved to a very accessible and well-appointed venue, Hewish & Puxton Village Hall, Maysgreen Lane, Hewish, BS24 6TR, where meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 10am excluding Nov & Dec which will be held on the 17th November & 15th December 2024.

The group now extends a warm welcome to NMRABR members to join them in these monthly meetings. Tea and coffee making facilities are available on site with members bring their own lunch snacks.

The village hall is situated just off the A370 in Hewish, about 5 minutes from junction 21 of the M5. There is an excellent bus service from Bristol bus station to Weston-super-Mare, the X1, which passes the end of Maysgreen Lane. Please check Google Maps for bus stop positions in Hewish.
