DIVISION NEWS...
By the time you read this the NMRA stand will have been to the Nottingham Show. This will be the first time in years. Also we have accepted an invitation to the NEC in Nov/Dec this year. I have received lots of requests for the laminated A5 sign’s (“We support the NMRA”) and the “What is the NMRA” forms. Let’s hope this brings us some new members, as I know there are plenty of modellers out there who model the American scene, but don’t know enough about us, and are put off at the cost!. So it’s up to us to let them know what a great group we are and the benefits of joining.
The Black Diamond N group tell me that they will have a full modular layout at their meet in May. This is a pike to be seen, with its full length trains and ever changing scenes .
Don’t forget if you want everyone to know about your meet/model show. YOU have to let me know.

Eastern Division
Full Divisional Meet for Eastern Division for, amongst other things, the official hand-over of Thorn Tree Flats.
We shall therefore have at least 2 HO layouts in operation (Thorn Tree Flats and Pueblo Falls (nee Bellows Falls) plus at least one in N (Bethany Wells).
I also hope to arrange for at least two more in HO. There will also be bring and buy plus refreshments provided by the Church Committee which owns the venue.
DATE is 11 May 2002: Timing 11.00am- 4.00pm, and the VENUE is St Alban Church Hall, St John’s Road, Westcliff, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, the home of Southend Model Railway Club

Scotland Division
The Spring Meet will be held on Saturday 13th April 2002. Please note the venue this time will be Church House, The Cross, Linlithgow – still only 5 minutes from the station!
Open 10am to 4pm. 3 layouts, demos, bring & buy, 2 traders, refreshments. Admission £2 with card.
